In anticipation of its formal inauguration on April 20, 2025, during the NewSpace Africa Conference 2025 in Cairo, AfSA seeks a logo that will visually symbolize the agency’s mission to spearhead Africa’s space exploration endeavors and tackle critical issues like climate change, disaster response, and sustainable resource management.

Criteria for the 2025 AfSA Logo Design Contest 

• Age Requirement: The competition is open to Africans aged 18 to 29 at the time of application. 
• Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of AU member states, including professional graphic designers, visualization specialists, scientists, visual artists, and novice creators who are part of the NewSpace Africa Conference 2025.

Selection Process for the 2025 AfSA Logo Design Contest

The timeline for the contest is set as follows:
