Job Overview

The Product Manager at Equinix will play a critical role in executing the company’s product strategy through in-depth research and analysis. This position involves supporting various aspects of product lifecycle management, strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying improvements, developing business cases, and ensuring optimal product performance while maintaining stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Product Lifecycle Management:

• Analyze and refine existing product processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of product-related technologies and workflows.

Product Strategy, Vision, and Roadmap:

• Contribute to ad-hoc assignments that aid in shaping the product strategy and roadmap.
• Assist senior team members in the formulation and execution of long-term product plans.

Market, Competitive, and Customer Analysis:

• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and targeted vertical markets.
• Prepare detailed reports evaluating the company’s financial position, market opportunities, and competitive standing.

Business Case Development:

• Work collaboratively with senior professionals to develop robust financial models.
• Create persuasive business case reviews that highlight new opportunities and potential market advantages.

Product Performance Analysis:

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess product success.
• Use data-driven insights to enhance user experience and drive product improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Design and implement training materials for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Actively participate in interdepartmental meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.

New Partner Identification and Engagement:

• Identify potential partners who can contribute to product expansion and improvement.
• Establish and maintain partnerships to enhance the overall product offering.

Backlog Prioritization:

• Assist in managing product backlogs and refining requirements as needed.
• Work closely with technology teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Test Case Definition and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Coordination:

• Define configuration parameters and develop test cases.
• Conduct and oversee UAT processes to ensure product functionality aligns with expectations.

Stakeholder Management:

• Handle stakeholder expectations within and across different functional areas.
• Identify key stakeholders and maintain clear, effective communication channels.

Required Qualifications and Skills
